Road Safety Celebration

„The City… The Street… My Smile”

On 21.04.2012 in Sofia Park the children from kindergarten Nemo together with their teachers and parents took part in a road safety celebration: ”The City… The Street… My Smile”. The celebration was the culmination of a one-year road safety project of the same name at Private kindergarten Nemo.

The experts from the European Road Safety Charter were very impressed by Nemo’s project “The city…the street…my smile…” and published information about it on its official website. Now Europe knows about us too!

Our friend painter Asya Raycheva designed an authentic sign which became the official logo of our event. The small square in front of the “Bar Chorbar” restaurant was turned into an exhibition area with all the paintings and projects of the children of kindergarten Nemo, and what was really impressive was the model of a city made with a lot of hard work and enthusiasm and used in solving cases in the game “The little policeman in the confused city”. Chief Inspector Krasimir Kostov and Inspector Stanislav Iliev from Chief Directorate “Public Order Police” had very authoritative and attractive presence. They observed very carefully and commented professionally the children’s games and demonstrations. We thank them for their useful pieces of advice! At the end of the day all children from kindergarten Nemo received well deserved rewards and had a party.
