Private kindergarten NEMO was established in 2006 by Nadezhda Karamanska and Monika Petrova with the following mission: to bring up and educate children with a lot of music by arousing in them the joy in communicating with it. The lack of a Music Kindergarten in the private education market provoked them to implement this project driven by the principle of an original and unique idea.
Nadezhda Karamanska is a child of a family of musicians. She starts playing piano when she is 4 years old. She subsequently graduated from the German High School in Haskovo and the Plovdiv University “Paisij Hilendarski” with specialties in Preschool pedagogy and Music manager in kindergarten. In 1992, the Receives specialty in German language in kindergarten and initial degree. From 1989, As a children’s teacher and during the period 2002 – 2005 years. was a basic Bulgarian language teacher at “St. Kliment Ohridski” University of Sofia. Faculty of primary and pre-school pedagogy.
Monica Petrova Graduated from the State Music School “Panayot Pipkov”, Pleven. In 1994, the Graduated from “Pancho Vladigerov”, Faculty for pop and jazz music in the accordion class of Assoc. Prof. Georgi Galabov. In 1998, she Won a scholarship from the Austrian Ministry of science and transport with a project for the history and pedagogy for accordion. Subsequently she graduated two postgraduate qualifications in “Elementary education” and “Initial pedagogy with German language” at the Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. In 2018 Monica Petrova decided to follow her dream of becoming an accordion teacher and leaving with her family for Germany.
From the summer of 2018 Iva Stoyanova becomes a managing partner in the “Private kindergarten “ NEMO”” Ltd. She is a sociologist by profession, but incidentally does not fall into kindergarten. She grew up in a family of teachers and musicians, she has an affinity for children and music and manages to find her place in the Musical kindergarten of Sofia. The satisfaction and the successes she achieves, provoke her to continue its education with the Master’s Degree “Preschool pedagogy” at Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.
